SITUATION LifeScience Alley® had successfully produced an annual conference for four years using a combination of in-house staff and an outside event management company. Our objective was to come on-board to grow its event in attendance, exposure, target audience, and profitability while working as its back-office staff and freeing up its employees.

SOLUTION The Event Group led LifeScience Alley through a strategic planning process to identify attendee and sponsor needs. Using this information, The Event Group presented a new format and grew the event to a new venue, which could accommodate the anticipated future growth. The Event Group's role was, and is still, to produce an exceptional event. We develop all conference marketing material, manage mailing lists, sell sponsorships, develop and maintain the website, process registrations, and handle all event logistics.

SUCCESS Since The Event Group has been involved, sponsorship and advertising revenue have grown 270% and registration revenue has grown 425%. Attendee feedback reflects an average of 96% of attendees would register again in the following year.
